mkdep: Propagate compiler errors.
If, for example, the preprocessor runs into an #error directive, there
is no good reason to ignore the failure.  In the best case scenario the
compiler will eventually run into the same problem and fail the build
anyway.  In the worst case scenario failures to fail will pile up and
produce malformed results without an apparent error.
