    * tta/perl/Texinfo/Common.pm (processing_output_encoding): use the encoding_name_conversion_map map on preferred encoding name obtained with call of Encode::find_encoding followed by lc(Encode::find_encoding()->mime_name()).  Also return the encoding name, set to a different name than the argument encoding if set by using encoding_name_conversion_map.

(processing_output_encoding, get_encoding_conversion),
tta/C/parsetexi/end_line.c (end_line_misc_line): move code
corresponding to Perl Encode::find_encoding followed by

set encoding_name converter field in setup_output_encoding based on
processing_output_encoding call on OUTPUT_ENCODING_NAME.  Do not do
anything special with ascii encoding.

* tta/C/convert/convert_to_info.c (info_output),
tta/perl/Texinfo/Convert/InfoNonXS.pm (output): use registered
encoding_name instead of the direct value of OUTPUT_ENCODING_NAME
to get the character set possibly different, extended in the same way
encoding conversions are done.  That way, the Info readers can
decode from the encoding actually used in the Info file.

* tta/perl/Texinfo/Convert/LaTeX.pm (conversion_initialization)
(convert_math_to_images): call
Texinfo::Common::processing_output_encoding to get the output encoding
name actually used, to set $self->{'output_encoding_name'} in
conversion_initialization, or to be used directly in
convert_math_to_images.

    * doc/texinfo.texi (@code{@@documentencoding}): add a footnote explaining that texi2any may substitute encodings.  Used "based on" instead of "set to" in the main text to match this possibility of substitution.  The text remains vague on purpose to avoid committing to anything, but the user should not be surprised if the output encoding is not the encoding specified by OUTPUT_ENCODING_NAME.

    * tta/configure.ac, tta/defs.in: remove TESTS_MAIN_COMMAND AC_SUBST from configure.ac, as nothing sets the variable anymore.  Change defs.in such that the value is not set by configure.  Leave it to be set manually, it could be useful to set in one place the command used for the tta/tests temporarily.
